iDEA hub opens in Lagos

idea hubInformation Technology Developers Entrepreneur Accelerator (iDEA) has launched an information technology development hub in Lagos. iDEA is a non-profit organization established to support the development of indigenous skills and capabilities in software development.

Its primary purpose is to accelerate the development of the software industry in Nigeria by nurturing and helping Nigerian software technology businesses. iDEA will help entrepreneurs build software skills, solutions and businesses critical to their success thereby creating wealth and employment opportunities. The iDea project is supported by Nigeria Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)

The Lagos centre is launching on 19th of April, 2013 with Developers session by Nokia, Microsoft, Google and Minister for ICT, Omobola Johnson with DG NITDA, Professor Ngaye at the iDEA Centre, 296 Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos State.
