Entrepreneurcountry has officially debut it’s Nigerian chapter on the 10th July at the Lagos Chamber of Commere and Industry, in an exciting and inspiring day fuelled by discussions on innovation and disruption. Launched in partnership with Nkiru Asika, CEO of Enterprise Creative, The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry played host to the event, which feature an impressive selection of guest speakers.
This, in addition to giving attendees the unique opportunity to connect with high-growth digital startups and large corporates, encouraging partnership and investment.
Prominent investors, corporates (Goliaths) and digital enablers (Davids) shared their views on all things digital occurring within the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Speakers include Amit Pau, Director of EntreprenuerCountry and Beverly Okoye, Deputy Director at UK Trade and Investment Nigeria. Additionally, there were two panels on the day focused on both the funding, entrepreneurship and innovation landscape in Nigeria. Panellists included Bankole Oluwafemi, Co-Founder of highly-regarded Nigerian tech blog TechCabal, Award-winning journalist Tolu Ogunlesi as a moderator.and Victor Okigbo, Manager at IDEA Accelerator.
