The Managing Director, Stallion Auto Group, Tokunbo Aromolaran, said “Stallion motors, in response to the new automotive policy by the Federal Government of Nigeria, rose to the challenge to establish the local production of its brands. This action has resulted in the local manufacture of the Nissan Patrol S.U.V” .
The Nigerian Minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga, said “apart from the role it plays in attracting investments into the country, it is a major part of industrialisation, of manufacturing. About nine million jobs are created in the sector,”.
The production of Nissan vehicles in Nigeria is part of a larger Africa-wide initiative that is aimed at creating jobs and reducing the number of vehicles imported from foreign countries.
