NGO sponsors malaria test for Abuja residents

A non-profit organisation, Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative, has sponsored malaria tests for 100 residents of Zaki Biyu community in Jabi, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The Head of Administration and Communication in SLNI, Ms. Favour Umade, stated this on Monday in Abuja while briefing journalists on the outcome of a town hall meeting on environmental and health improvement conducted in the community.

The meeting featured talks on the effects of dirty environment on health and ways to improve the health of the community dwellers. Umade said, “We cleared refuse dumps from the roads and gutters.”
